Hmmmmmmmmmm? I am sure the 338/378 Weatherby will do fine on ALL animals in NA, especially with 300grain bullets!. If you however should choose the .340Weatherby instead, you would have to go aprox 40yards closer ![]() DRSS: HQ Scandinavia. Chapters in Sweden & Norway

I believe the combo would be just fine. It fits nice to me but it is fairly heavy and the muzzle blast off the accubrake is something else! I am a big time fan of the 340 Wby and it is a round I'd think you could benefit from taking a look into. Just a thought MD

I have owned both 340 Weatherby's and 338/378's. With the current powders the 338/378 really performs well with a variety of bullets. If you do purchase one, watch eBay for brass. There is a seller that often has 338/378 brass. If you are patient you can get it much cheaper than anywhere else. I recently purchased 200 rounds of once fired brass in factory boxex for 65 including shipping.
