Hmmmmmmmmmm?

I am sure the 338/378 Weatherby will do fine on ALL animals in NA, especially with 300grain bullets!. If you however should choose the .340Weatherby instead, you would have to go
aprox 40yards closer bewildered!.

I believe the combo would be just fine. It fits nice to me but it is fairly heavy and the muzzle blast off the accubrake is something else!

I am a big time fan of the 340 Wby and it is a round I'd think you could benefit from taking a look into.

Just a thought

I have owned both 340 Weatherby's and 338/378's. With the current powders the 338/378 really performs well with a variety of bullets.

If you do purchase one, watch eBay for brass. There is a seller that often has 338/378 brass. If you are patient you can get it much cheaper than anywhere else. I recently purchased 200 rounds of once fired brass in factory boxex for 65 including shipping.
