I have a 3year old Rem 7600 30-06 ,can this be rebarreled to 375-06,IE just change the barrel and thats it.

Maybe you should post this on the gunsmith forum. While you're at it find the size of an adequate recoil pad you should put on along with the comensator. I've owned two mod. 760s in 30-06 and they both jumped back a bit.Your proposal steps up the recoil a foot-pound or so. Let us know how you like it once it's done. roger

I think I'd just rebore it. Might be cheaper than rebarreling since the hadware is already in place.
