What is it? Kind of looks like a 22-250 hull necked up with a Weatherby-ish shoulder.

Nah, it's got a rebated rim, and the case is fatter. Looks more like a shortened .284, but with funky shoulders? Maybe a .284 in a 257 Weatherby chamber held short? Dutch.

ST, there have only been 16 rounds sent down the tube so far. 10 break-in/clean between rounds to smooth the throat....then even though I didnt have my bags I couldnt resist shooting a qucik group while the light was fading... Havent done much shooting off of a Versa-pod...had a stocking cap under the butt stock. Chrono said avg. 3340 for these five pictured. 52grains RL-19. Fed210M, Lapua brass, 100grain Nos Bts. .010" off. Had a big ES though maybe due to the light...will obviously try same load agian.
