.500 Jeffery/.416
Has someone made a 416 on the .500 Jeffery case ?
I would work in a standard Mauser action thumb

Cheers,

André

I haven't heard of one. Considering the Jeffrey brass is at most 10% greater in capacity, and has the rebated rim, I can't see it being worth the effort.

Now if you were to neck down Rob's 600 OK, then you'd be talking Big Grin

I know that SABI has done a .338 Voschol and they talked about doing a 416 and others.

Ed Plummer at AHR used to do both a 416 and 475 on his 500 AHR case. Somewhere, I've got dimensioned drawings I pulled from his website before they disappeared.
