What are the wildcatting/reloading books or resources you rely on most often or would not be without? Designing and Forming Custom Cartridges? Wildcat Cartridges? Speer Reloading manual? Etc.

Yes. And Ackley's books are good reading (just found them used in the bookstore), as many reloading manuals as you can stand. Ballistics programs are good fun, too, and something like Quickload, or even just a good external ballistics program, pretty much whatever you can get your hands on. It's all so very stimulating.

Jim in T - In all honesty I can say that this is by far my best reference for handloading info. and particularly wildcat, case forming operations. I get more from the net, maybe not directly but access to find what I need right here. Lots of good people with tips, links, experience and of course opinions but a great resource in general. I have many books, loading manuals and old magazines but I seem to absorb it better working on the internet.

In addition to the ones mentioned, let us not forget "WILDCAT CARTRIDGES, VOLS I & 2", published by Wolfe Publishing Co. These 2 volumes are excellent sources for various cartridges and their history. The best software program I have found/used has been "Load from a Disc", it uses updated Powley Computer formulas and has a case designer which gives you probably more info than you wanted. Excellent sources for those of us who like to tinker/wish/experiment with various cartridges. Ol' John

You may also want to add John Donnelly "The Handloaders Manual of Cartridge Conversions". It is a great resource for parent cases, case capacities, all the diameters and also references Ackley volume and page. Frank
