Anybody care to hazard an educated guess at a velocity from this round with a 75gr bullet from a 20" bbl? I've calculated the case capacity at 32-33 gr H20.

PS: Also, if anybody has an accurate unprimed case weight for the 204, I'd appreciate it (I estimated 110 grains).

Waterfowler-- I just selected 10 Hornady .204 Ruger casings at random and they averaged 94.72 grains. These are casings that were fired once, flash hole deburred, primer pocket uniformed, trimmed to 1.8425", and then the case neck was chamfered and deburred.

i am sure this would be close to the 257 kimber wildcat that was developed(?) when they were in oregon. there were several articles published on it at the time. it may be a little more powerful than mr. wotters 25 copperhead that was also written up when he was promoting it. i'll see if i can find the articles and let you know what was claimed.
