I agree with Rick Teal's suggestion of 303british.com
Excellent stuff. The 303 Epps conversion is quite easy but best left to P14's (very strong) or #4's (reasonably strong). Mine is sporterized P14 carbine. Note that you will usually loose some magazine capacity since the cases are "fatter".

Whilst you're talking to Steve at 303British ask him about the 303ICBM ?. A couple of New Zealanders got together and improved the 303 cartridge, mainly from a case life point of view. Steve details it in one of his books.

V - Talk to some of the Aussie members about working on the 303 case. I think it's popular down there and has been done about every way you can do it.......and for the same reasons Americans have done the same to our 30/06 cartridge.

When you've got the military wanting to dump a few million rifles on the market, smart shooters don't look a gift horse in the mouth. They just snatch it up.

Check in at 303british.com. I believe there's a note somewhere on that site about US reamer rental companies that have .303 Epps reamers.

I'm way out on a limb here, but I think one might be z-hat, and I believe they can do the rechambering as well.

I have been running a 303 epps in a #4 for a few years now,its a great gun for shooting sambar over the hounds,i am currently waiting for another based on a p14 to come back from the gunsmiths. I am also considering having my p14 303-25 converted to the epps chamber .It certainly lifts the performance of the 303 .

sambar02,
Who is the 'smith your working with? Not Keith Bridgeman at Sprinter is it? He can still cut an improved 303British chamber from 22cal through to 375cal.
Cheers...
