Need loading data for 7-30 imp.150 Gr. fireforming and 130 gr. hunting loads. Am loading for a friend and I have no loading data, and can't seem to find any.

singleshot, I usually fireform by shooting the heaviest bullets I can find load data for in the parent case, round nose work best, and then loading a max load of the fastest burning powder that is listed for that bullet.seat the bullet out enough to enter a couple of thousanths into the lands so the case head is being held firmly against the bolt/breech face. This may require loading one at a time into the chamber as they may be too long for the magazine or carrier. Typically the max published data for the parent(unimproved) case for that bullet or just a little below is where I'll start my loads after they're fireformed.

I agree with vip , my max loads do not exceed the unimproved ones by more than 8-10 % (I shoot a 40� version with a very short neck) work up slowly and have fun with this beauty , J�rgen
