If your hitting your nose with a standard length bolt, then your stocks too short or your nose is too long, one or tother!

I might add that the action for a 338-06 that you mention is the same length as a 338 Winchester, and a good 350 Mag. should be built on a std. length action so as to utilize the heavier bullets IMO.....I have used all these calibers at one time or another and I found the 338 Win. is about the perfect large caliber for this side of the ocean and not a bad choice for the other side....however I have no problem with any choice you make, just adding my two bits as you posted for replies on the subject....
