Got a Daystate Wolverine HP air rifle in 30 caliber. Have about a dozen different pellets from different makers. I think they range in weight from around 44 grains to 160??!! Not sure the larger ones would actually fit, from past experience. Question is, do you think it might be worth shooting it at 100 yards??

My Wolverine 303 is an early one( serial #0004). Tried several but does best with 51 grain(IIRC) JSB. Haven’t tried anything heavier than 58 or so grains. Doubt they will fit the magazine and I don’t want to single shot load. I zero at 75 yards and drop at 100 yards is about 1 1/2”. Haven’t done extensive testing but muzzle velocity gives about 98 ft lbs. Vote Trump- Putin’s best friend… To quote a former AND CURRENT Trumpiteer - DUMP TRUMP

It seems to be very accurate. But has an awful cocking bolt. It is bolt action, and the bolt is so hard to cycle! I tried the Nielsen pellets, and the 99, 122, and 154 grain pellets will not work in it. Not even single loaded. The opening is big big enough to put the pellets in the chamber, but the bolt won't close.

Slugs won’t sit in the magazine. I had to load all slugs singly into the chamber. Not sure about shooting at 100 yards, as a trial few shots at 50 were not very encouraging. Every manufacturer has a different design for the magazine, and so far FX seems to be best. Pellets heavier than about 60 grains will not chamber. 61 grains did with a lot of pressure. Tank is good for about 30 shots.
