Anyone here have experience with Hawke air gun scopes? I have a 3x9 Barska air gun scope and was looking at one with more power in particular this one: Hawke Sport Optics Airmax 4-12x40 AO Rifle Scope, AMX Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 1 in Tube. How are the Hawke and UTG air gun scopes?

Steve, I had one and liked it. Can't remember which model. They show up pretty regularly on serious field target shooters' equipment lists. I'm a Yellow Forum member, too.

i have no experience with the Airmax model but have 4 Hawke Sidewinder tactical scopes and like them a lot. Clear, sharp, image. With the 42mm objective lens, they are a lot lighter than the regular Sidewinder scopes.Hawkes warranty/service is second to none.i would not waste my money on a UTG scope and Barska isn't much better, IMHO...

I have a couple of them and have had no problems. Work great for me.
