got word last week that the Wolverine i put a deposit on 2 months ago is in transit from the UK and should be in my hands in about 2 weeks. this big bore will be used to sort out my problem with pigs/ coyotes/ bobcats around the ranch. with the silencer i have ordered, it will making popping these vermin quietly at night a slam dunk. more to follow after i wring it out.

Cool! If it works out I might be interested as well since I have animal problems and live in exurbia. My two springers are too light for the full range of vermin I have.

well, it's here and its a keeper. 1/2 inch 50 yard groups, great trigger, beautiful rifle. i have ordered a custom silencer as it noisy- about like a .22rf standard velocity- but the 50 grain pellet makes a very satisfying thump when it hits something. the bobcats, coyotes, and pigs that have been causing problems are in for a night time surprise.

Great Local critters seem to have learned the limitations of my .177 springers.

compared to a .177 springer this is the equivalent of comparing a .22rf to a .270 win.
