Really what I am wondering is if mounting the Leaper 4x40 TactEdge in thier two piece rings was a mistake on the Model 34 Panther?

I was impulsive and the combo is on its way from Pyramydair now.

No way, it looks nice.
Any springer needs the scope to be on good, or it will move. A bit of Locktite 243 between the scope and rings also the rings may have a pin that you can use if you have problems with movement.

Thanks for the encouragement.

The gun will have a lot of use against the starling I hate here. That is not to mention the prey items I plan on eating!

As a wildlife biologist working with owls, purple martins, and Vaux's swifts this gives me great joy.
