I f...in told him not do do it, but my mate kept leaving his airgun propped up in the window. Ready for whatever he wanted to shoot. But the condensation from the window has rusted the last few inches of the bore. I've scrubbed the crap out but it's all pitted, and won't shoot straight any more. I'm going to try shorting it but it's a BSA and they are choked. So it may not work too well. It's such a bugger as that gun would put pellet on pellet at 60 yards. Mabye I'll keep it as he owes me quite a bit of cash and won't buy a barrel for it anyway and I'll pimp it up for a laugh. "When doing battle, seek a quick victory."

You really can't resist fixing that gun up, can you? Do a good job and enjoy, but here's a good resolution for you, no more lending $ in the new year. BTW, happy new year to you and to all the bullseye busting, starling blasting airgunners on here, have a great new 2009! Penny aim small, hit small
