Does anyone shoot a Air Force condor or talon. I'm looking at getting a pre-charged hunting air- rifle for Christmas. Any recs on a good hunting air rifle? Ed DRSS Member

Friend has one of these and it's a hell of a shooter. We've dispatched quite a few varmints with it up to monkeys. If I SCUBA dived like him and had all the other air tank related gear anyway I'd likely buy one, as it is, I have enough things to fiddle with besides so I'm still in spring piston land but pre charged sure work nice. Maybe next year.

Some of us travel. The owner of the SCUBA gear and pre-charged stuff lives in Natal. Cheers, tom

The Talons are OK, good for higher power. But the more expensive guns are way more satisfying to own. If it's a present for yourself, and you can spend the cash, I'd say get something real nice. Like the Daystate if you can afford it and all the rest of the bits you need. Or Air Arms S410 for a bit less, a lot of people like the HW 100. There are lots of brilliant guns, you need to do a fair bit of research really. "When doing battle, seek a quick victory."
