jeffeossoB30 reviews?
"My wife" just ordered a Bam B30, scope and 1 piece mount.
Anyone have any feedback on these? The reviews all claim great accuracy, and good, but subsonic (good) accuracy ?

jeffeossoupon reviews, its an updated b21, with a slightly shorter barrel.. xirius? lists the parts, by way of picture, as identical to the x21 internally, with a shorter barrel.
we'll see in a week,

jeffeossoSo I received my
bam m30-1 .177 caliber
leapers 3-9 illuminated retical
11MM one piece scope base, this is a problem, as the base appears to be 13mm (i will put the calipers on it later)
I bought several different pellets to try, and a make due rest, at 25 measured yards...
daisy pointed pellets sucked in terms of accuracy
the rigger SUCKS -- but i knew that going in. I will be taking it down and cleaning it up. estimated a rough and crunchy 9# at max turn down, down from 13 or 14 .. no kidding..
crossman round hollowpoints KICKED ASS....
my wife and I sat in the backyard, shooting at a 5/8" target at 25 yards, and had a net FIFTY shot group of about 1.3 inches, with the bulk of them going into about 1/2 of that.. i could stick my pinky into the target and box...
complete passthroughs, at 25 yards, on a new tennis ball and synthetic wine corks.. long and short ways...
The gun was full of dirty rusty oil, so i need to tearing it down and clean it up, and fix the trigger...
i need a 13MM base, and to get the triger closer to 4-5 # ...
this is basically the same as the b21 inside
the wood on mine wasn't nearly as nice as some
I am going to chrono in the morning, and decide if this particular one goes back

jeffeossoWell
Chrono's don't lie.
with crossman hollowpoints, ave of 836fps
with PBA gold, 951FPS
that's 49, or nearly 5% slower than advertised... I might can live with that
Combined with the AWEFUL trigger and poor wood, it may very well go back, but for replacement.

jeffeossoI spent 20 mins learning how the trigger goldberg works.. file and polished ONE spot, trigger is now about 2.5#, and my wife loves it...

jeffeossoat 35 yards, total pass through on full soda (well, mic. ultra) cans... now, the funny part is that they rupture TO the shooter ... looks like a reversed entry/exit
but, they go right through..
I am ordering some spare parts from xisicos, and they are here in HOUSTON ...

TCLouisI assume trigger is the same as a B-21.
If so did you just pull the pins and all of the trigger parts fall out AND go back together in a reasonably easy manner?
My B-21 continues to improve in accuracy and the original chronograph work proved to be above listed velocity

jeffeossoThe parts manual says they are the same, and mine, with a lighter trigger, is less than .75" at 25 (well, 27) yards

jeffeossohad it out again tonight.. it weighs as much as my 500 AR, and is good for trigger practice, without a doubt!
I love it!

jeffeossohad it out again last night.. shooting 25 yards - sub inch, and shooting seated on the ground.. what a ball
