We got a number of air rifles, in different caliber. I am planning to check them all with different types of pellets. First one I tested is the DAYSTATE FORESTER WOLVERINE. It is in 22 caliber and we put a Leupold 3-9 X scope on it. All shooting was done at 30 yards. I will post photos of the targets hopefully when I get back home, as I am travelling. I weighed 10 pellets of each type, to get an average of each pellet's weight. 1. DAYSTATE RANGEMASTER 0.265" 14.33 GRAINS 2. DAYSTATE MONETR 0.624 25.41 3. WEBLEY VENOM LAZAPELL 0.382 14.74 4. As you already know, air rifles like 22 LR really respond to differences in the ammo that they are fed. Is there any chance that you can shoot the same air rifle/pellets at 50 yards in the test? Any velocity data? Your use of an indoor range will remove the variability of weather conditions and make for an interesting and more accurate comparison of ammunition. Even in a significantly lower priced PCP than your Daystate, I found preference for the "correct" pellet were easily seen even as close as 25 yards. I have not shot enough to see if the same brand, "model" of pellet produced at different times were still preferable for a given gun. Yet one more shooting/loading project for retirement. Eagerly await your testing and results. I for one look forward to seeing your results posted. Don't limit your challenges . . . Challenge your limits

We just received a dozen air rifles, of different makes and different caliber so. From 17 to 357. I am out of the country, and will test all of them once I get th chance. I will check the higher powered ones at up to 50 yards and post my results.

I have 6 DAystates, all .22 except for the .303 Wolverine. Power ranges from 30fpe to 100fpe and all are zeroed for 50 yards. Two 30 fpe rifles shoot 18 gr JSB best, 2 40fpe shoot 21 gr H&N BArracuda best, 1 65fpe Air Ranger80 shoots 29 gr DAystate FAC Monsters best( hard to find- I stocked up), and the .303 shoots the usual Emperors best(51 gr). All are zeroed at 50 yards and all shoot 1/2" or better groups at that range. Vote Trump- Putin’s best friend… To quote a former AND CURRENT Trumpiteer - DUMP TRUMP

Both my .22 cal. Daystate Regal XL and .22 cal. Daystate Airwolf shoot well inside 1/2" to 3/4" groups at 50 yards. Still not settled on what pellet works best for the Regal. I have Hawke Sidewinder 30 6.5-20x42 on both rifles.
