I've read that some prefer to NOT use a jag but instead, to use an undersized nylog jag to hold a patch. I don't have an argument there!

In 30 cal what under size brush?

I've had some success with a 22 brush. I custom cut my own patches. The size of the patches will make a difference as to what brush will work best.
