I bought a bottle of Bore Tech Eliminator recently and decided to do a little test, I cleaned a couple of my centerfire rifles prior to using BTE. The first I cleaned with Kroil till the patches came out without staining, the second was cleaned with Break Free CLP. I then cleanid both bores with BTE, the amount of crud removed looked as though no prior cleaning had been done. BTE is not my go to cleaning solution.

BTE is my go to cleaning solution. Don't know how the "not" snuck in there.

BTE is great on carbon fouling -- only.

Bore Tech Eliminator is a very strong copper cutter, much stronger than Barnes CR-10 or Sweets 7.62. I haven't noticed it as being as good of a carbon cutter as Slip 2000 Carbon Killer.
