Just wondering what method you guys use for cleaning the inside of the receiver. Shotgun mop, paper towel, short cleaning rod?

Q-tips with some Hoppe's Elite cleaner in the hard to reach areas. Every other spot gets a Hoppe's Elite spritzed rag on the tip of my finger.

All finished off with another Q-tip with a little bit of Hoppe's Elite oil on it.

I use this chamber cleaning tool on all of my bolt actions:

It's the only way I've found to clean the lug recesses.
