I generally clean using brake cleaner, but I recently bought a Nylon 66 that is in need of serious cleaning, and I'm a tad leery of using BC on the feed area of the stock and the like. I'm wondering if Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber is safe on the nylon stock?

How about soap and hot water?

I would prefer to use Hornady One Shot Gun Cleaner and Dry Lube, on a Nylon 66. But you should test it on the stock first in a hidden spot. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

They make a synthetic safe gun scrubber. It works very well. Biggest concern is it still might dull the stock but it sure won't melt it. So try it in a small area first. Another great cleaner that does'nt seem to affect anything is denatured alcohol.

Well, I put my "God Hates A Coward" belief to the test and went with regular GunScrubber AFTER testing it, as suggested, on a couple small areas of the stock. The bolt removes easily(this is my fourth Nylon 66 over the years) and with the trigger guard removed as well, you can blast right down thru the thing, not many places for grunge to hide. Brushed it as well as possible, then blasto some more. Re-lubed metal parts with BreakFree CLP, bolt got a separate cleaning/lubeing, and she's good to go! It's worth mentioning that after picking the gun up at the store, prior to even pulling the cover to look at the insides, I took it out in the yard and snapped 24 rounds through it, trouble free. That didn't surprise me much UNTIL I got inside. "and he that hath no sword, let him sell his cloak and buy one"

I was just a kid when those came out. I never owned one, but I have heard they are really great little .22s...
