I bought a small bottle of this cleaner, protector and not sure if I'm totally sold on it yet. It seems to clean the carbon out ok and it feels like a light lubricant. It doesn't smell bad either and is supposed to be non-toxic.
Anybody else using this cleaner solvent? Just wonder what your thoughts are?

It is the only cleaner/lubricant I use on .22 target pistols. It cleans carbon really well and is an effective lube for the slide assemblies. Both my S&W M41 and my 30+ year old High Standard "Victor" operate flawlessly with it.

I don't use it on centerfire rifles; for those I use M-Pro 7 for carbon and Wipe Out for copper removal.

Regards, Bill.

I've used it for several years, +1 on removing carbon and acting as a light lube. It will work as a cleaner on a rifle bore if it's not heavily fouled with brass.

If you need to clean heavy jacket fouling you are going to need something stronger.

IMHO Gunzilla works specially well on revolver cylinders and on AR15 bolts and carriers it's the bomb. Big Grin
