Yes,I think mine did.It might not be the best thing to do because a jag not made for that particular rod can bend the rod and send it into the rifling instead of going straight.

It depends. Depending on which Dewey rod you have - but many Dewey rods have a male thread on the end. And the Pro Shot jags (rifle and handgun) require an 8-32 thread female to accept their 8-32 male thread end as supplied by Pro Shot. If you have a Dewey rifle rod with a male end for .27 caliber and up it should be a 12 x 28 thread. So you will need a 12- 28 female x 8-32 female. The Dewey rods generally have this adapter included when you buy them new. More recently Dewey has sold rods with the 8-32 female threads - I think those are stainless. The nylon coated Dewey rods I believe are the 12-28 threaded and would require the supplied adapter for the Pro Shot jags. The adapters can be purchased as well. The Dewey handgun rods are supplied with the 8-32 thread female - at least the ones I have are. So the Pro Shot male screws right in. I own both Pro Shot and Dewey. I purchased a dozen various Dewey adapters so I would not have to scrounge for them. Hope that helps.

This may be too radical a concept for an internet forum, but---why not ask here------> http://www.deweyrods.com/ ---or even---here: http://www.proshotproducts.com/ If the enemy is in range, so are you. - Infantry manual
