Gents, Just got through shining up my AR-15 and I noticed that even after 100 rounds, my bore gives me clean patches in just a few short strokes. My blued steel hunting rifles could take up to a week to remove all the copper after a practice session. ANybody have any experience with chrome lined barrels and why they would not foul as fast? Are they just smoother, and without all the pores and machine markes of the other factory barrels?? THanks EMC2

I do not know why they don't foul as fast but my AK-47 is the same way. Im not bitching at all though. Cory Still saving up for a .500NE double rifle(Searcy of course)

I would say smoother than a machined surface and harder than steel. They're nice aren't they ??
