On the KG-12 label, says to use their KG-3 as the next step after using the KG-12.I don't have any KG-3.I assume that the KG-3 is a neutralizer for the KG-12.What do you use as a neutralizer?
In the meantime I'll use rubbing alcohol. Then oil as usual.

Ok, thanks for the reply. Thought I'd get more replies than this. I don't have any Prolix but I'll pick some up next time I'm at the store. Hope this doesn't hurt my bore in the meantime.

Regards,

I've left KG-12 in barrels overnight on multiple occasions and it has never hurt the bore.

You can use oil to remove the KG-12 and leave a protective coating in the bore but be sure to remove it before shooting or the first several shots will be wild and shooting through an oiled barrel can damage the bore.

Unlike oil, Prolix won't cause the first shots to be wild and it also leaves a protective coating thus, I no longer use oil in my barrels.

It probably is wise to read the front label on the product you are using! Says right there,"No Need to Neutralize".If I had read the whole label,I wouldn't have posted this thread.

Thanks for the tip on the prolix, though.
