I have a 270Win that shows no blue after multiple patches of Butches bore shine, no blue from Sweets, but if I then scrub with a nylon brush and blue wonder the patch after the wonder is black. I have repeated this 10 times or so and the last patch is just as black as the first. Can this gun be this filthy or does blue wonder turn to black goo after it is scrubbed in a bore. I get the same black goo with a brass brush as well, just more of it...
