I see this in the store at $12.99 for 4 oz. Thoughts? I have been using Lucas synthetic gun oil but wondered if there was something longer lasting for 1911s or ARs. sputster

I tried M-Pro 7 LPX oil to day on my revolver, it looks to be a great lubricant for all the moving parts. It appears to be thicker than Hoppe's Eilte oil and looks like it's got Teflon in it as the LPX is cloudy and Eilte is clear like a light olive oil. You can't get a definitive answer as to whether or not Teflon is bad in bores. I suspect in a he early days of Teflon oil the particles of Teflon were very large by today's offerings. I used to see the Teflon settle to the bottom of the bottle. This LPX stays mixed. I suspect it will turn out to be one of the best lubricants.
