Does anyone here use steam or high pressure hot water for any portion of their cleaning regiment ?

I've boiled in detergent or TSP [not for aluminum ] The TSP will get everything out including cheap oil that's turned into varnish.

Back in the dark ages when I was in the USMC, our M14's went in the shower with us the night before inspection.
