I have a couple old Swede Mauesers, 1900 and 1910. Will Wipeout or Warthog take off any blueing ? I have been afraid to use since both guns have good blueing

I have no experience with Warthog. WipeOut has NO effect on blueing. Geronimo

Every cleaner on the market was supposedly designed to remove copper and or carbon fouling. As such, it's not advisable to get any cleaner on the outside of any firearm. Having said that, no cleaner, including our cleaner (Warthog), will do an instant job of destroying anything on the outside of a firearm. Protect the finish, both stock and bluing or other finish, and wipe off the cleaner as soon as possible if you do get any on the outside, and you will be okay. Cleaners are designed to dissolve copper and cooper alloys, and the residue left behing by buring powder. That's enough to let anyone know to keep the stuff off the finish. Do that, and you'll be oaky, with our cleaner, or any other cleaner. RogerK, warthog1134.com warthog1134.com
