Does anyone have the mix for Ed's red? I have seen it but currently can't find the recipe.

One part each of the following:

ATF (auto trans fluid)
kerosene
mineral spirits
acetone

I think this is the "original", there may be variations.

Use your search engine and key in "Ed's Red".
Ed's Red is equal parts of:
Varsol [EXXON's verson of OIL BASED PAINT THINNER].
K-1 Kerosene
DEXTRON 2 or 3 Transmission fluid
You can add Lanolin and acetone but, I never have.
