For cleaning my .204 26 in. barrel does Dewey or Tipton have advantage or disadvantage over the other? I think D is coated and T is fiberglass? Appreciate any info.

acera,
The Tipton is a carbon fiber rod.
I have switched from others, many others, to Tiptons! They are very sweet to use.
I have had them almost bend in half trying to stuff to big a patch through the bore and come back out just fine. Probably would have kinked a metal rod!

I would go with a Pro-Shot steel rod because they are stiiffer and allow for more aggressive stroking action.

I've got a bunch of all of them, and the Tipton carbon fiber rods are all I use anymore. My favorite before getting them was the coated Bore Tech rods. A few of those stay in my reloading kit for the range, but except for them, the Tiptons get the call.

I have both Dewey and Tipton. Had the Dwewy rods first. The Tiptons took over. I don't use the Deweys. The Tipton handles are so much easier to use.

Chevy or Ford? Both rods have fans who are correct in their judgement. However, without a good bore guide it won't matter.

Long Tipton rods flex too much for me.
I'll stick with Dewey's rods.

I've used Dewey's for years. Never had a problem with them. Great product.

I use Dewey's here, with the exception of one Parker Hale that i've had forever. No complaints.
