I need a bore mope for my 500NE.
Would a .50 cal mop be better than a 12 guage or 20 guage size?

Who needs a bore mop for whatever?

I mean, just take a jag and cotton patch and soak it with your favourite rust preventative.

It is for applying a coat of oil to the bore.I can soak a mop use it and keep it in its little tube to reuse.I find a mop gives a nice even coat and saves oil too.

I got a response to my email from Dewey mfg.and they thought a 20 guage mop would work so I ordered a dozen. They have out a cable like a boresnake that I thought would be better so I ordered one of those too.
