Just got my first Glock. Any problem with the polymer frame in this or any other similar handgun when using Ed's Red with the acetone ingredient. Thanks.

Good question
I've used Ed's Red on all of my handguns but the are all steel, but some have Pacmeyer (sp) grips. There was no problem.
I've gotten Ed's Red on the butt stocks of AR10s with out a problem.

Thanks, A tentative test on an inconspicuous section seemed to confirm that there was no ill effect. I think I'll still go easy with the Eds Red with the Glock unlike my all steel handguns (with the Pachmayr grips) which I tend to submerge in a "bath" of the stuff.
