I know that practically everyone is using various 1 piece cleaning rods, etc. What are the opinions out there about the Otis Cleaning System. From what I've read it sounds pretty good but would like to get some other opinions. Thanks

Well I got one to clean a M94 from the chamber. It came in a pouch with pistol, short, and long pull-thru cables. And various ends to cover from .22 to 12 gauge, some rag and a manual. Just as well re the manual, even then it took me quite a while to work out their system for using the patches. Since then I've learnt to cut my own, simpler and larger. I found it a very handy kit which could be used in the camp on any type of action. It was a little awkward keeping the bits from falling out of their compartments, so I just left out the bits I use most. Also instead of using their patch system I often use an old bronze brush with some patch material wound around it. I ordered the simpler, one rifle kit which would have done me, but the gunshop turned up the delux model. useless twits.

I have the multi caliber OTIS cleaning kit and picked up lots of freebes at the SHOT Shows in Vegas ie 12g brushes, tubes of OTIS gun cleaning solvents, etc.I use it at home on my handguns and rifles but I also take it with me on hunting trips doesn't take up much space.Works great!!!!!!
