MASAILAND HUNT REPORT

One of our good clients just returned from hunting in Masailand. As you can see from the photos he had a very successful hunt, taking all the species he was looking for except a striped hyena! I have to say this is a pretty impressive bag of species including all 3 of the gazelles, fringe eared oryx, lesser kudu, gerenuk and more all in 14 days!

With 3 locations in Masailand the outfitter I work with can offer all the species that are found there to hunt. NL reported seeing plenty of game to select from and said it was a no pressure hunt.

He is a Weatherby man and was using his 300 Weatherby. He reported that all shots were within 200 yards so no real long distance shooting.

He also was very happy with the camp accomodations, service and hospitality.

It's really nice when everything goes according to plan and it certainly was the case this time around.

I will be posting a couple of Masailand hunts at seriously discounted prices for this year. I hope someone will be able to take advantage of them before the BIG increase in price next year!

Thanks as always for your time.

Congrats to you and your hunter Arjun. There is nothing quite like a Northern Masailand safari in my opinion.

Well done. I see he was hunting with Div. Great guy...

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

I love that place. Ol'Doinyo Lengai and the surrounding area is majestic scenery to say the least and great game. I love that photo of the hunter overlooking Lake Natron. You can see Kenya from there.
