I take it we are talking about Chamanzi Safaris in Natal SA?? If yes, I hunted with them back in 2002 and had a most enjoyable hunt. I believe they changed the PH that ran their hunts, but if their main area is still the same, that is positive. It was a mixture of deep, heavily wooded valleys (bushbuck, red duiker etc), and open almost savannah like tops. Good game populations, very scenic. Good camp.

At the time they also hunted several other areas in the vicinity of Vryheid (sp?). In particular I remember one area on the banks of a big reservoir with LOTS of warthogs. I'd go again just for that area.

I hunted with a local PH at the time - my memory for names is pretty weak, but he might have been called Hartmann, or some such thing. He was a character, and I enjoyed hunting with him.
