Cataract surgery is mostly a non event these days!! I was so blessed with now perfect vision without glasses, except readers, I did NOT opt for the lens with built in readers!! I had been wearing glasses for 60 years, so I didn't feel comfortable without glasses... so I have a slight correction in my left eye and the variable bifocals built into glasses with photo gray for sunlight. I can pass my drivers and pilots eye test without glasses now... I was 20/100 before cataract surgery!!... I too could not see the pigeons and doves coming in like my guide on a day hunt out of JNB!!
It is so routine now they are doing lens changes for people who need glasses only... then you never get cataracts!!
