Congrats on an outstanding Safari.
That must be their new camp? I hunted out of their Nungo camp a few years back for Leopard.
Nice Swimming pool in first pic Wink

Howdy Mike,

As you may recall, I told you at the Pemba Lodge a few weeks ago that you'd get both your eland and sable (but I never said that it would be easy). Guess I was right. Congratulations!

Steve, great to hear from you on AR - and very glad your prediction turned out to be true! You did have me knocking on that wooden dining table pretty hard after you said that, though! Big Grin

ozhunter, yes, we mostly hunted from the Messalo camp, which is about an hour and a half north of the Nungu camp. We did spend a day trying to track down an eland in the Nungu concession, but ended up finding ours at Messalo.

Here are a couple more photos:

Thanks, again, to all. Glad you enjoyed the report (and my wife's photos). My African hunting is pretty much cherry picking these days, and I was happy with these two! Smiler

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"
