Hello all,

I am back from the Chinko area. Still the same, trouble in the country and in Bangui but quite safe. Many people from Sudan and Chad with cattle killing savannah game ... BUT, for BONGOS, GIANT FOREST HOGS, LEOPARDS, DUIKERS it is excellent. Yes it is hard hunting but so rewarding !!!
Here are some pictures:

If one of you wants to hunt with me in Massailand, we organize a special 14 days safari for plains game....

Terre de légende et terre d'actualité, Bravo.

Je suis scotché, et peut-être plus encore par le nombre d'hylocheres.

Félicité est-t-elle toujours aux manettes?

Et la robe sombre des léopards, la signature de la centrafrique.

Thank you all.
This particular area on the eastern corner of CAR, between the Chinko river and the Mbari river is home of lots of bongos and giant forest hogs. It is the same if you go eastward towards Sudan. It is really amazing the density of GFH, lone boars, sounders up to 25 animals, in the forest and in the savannah !!! The density is very high but the quality is not as good as Ethiopia but we get very good one. Those pigs are very fortunate to be pig !!! the sudanese poachers are not killing them because they don't eat them !!!
It is really something different to hunt, like the last true adventure in the wild, great hunting experience.
