Anja and I have a return trip to Mauritania in the planning - was for December '17 but we are rescheduling to Feb '2018, a year away.

Anyone want to join and make this a "AR Mauritania Big Boar Trip"?

Looking at 5 days hunting inc 5 pigs which comes in at around EUR 3.500,- plus AF flights out of Paris. Extra pigs not a problem.

Drop me a PM if interested.

Charlie

Ps to be very clear, I am not an agent or benefitting in any way financially from this idea. Just thought to put it out there for anyone who is adventurous like us and loves hunting warthog!

Sounds like a great trip I love pig hunting. Hope you will continue this for a couple of years when I start going to africa again Smiler

I like pigs too! I am really curious about your wolf double, I have never seen one.

Colin hi. What can I tell you - it's a Wolf double in 8x57IRS made in 1991, so a couple of years after the Berlin Wall came down. It's topped with a Zeiss 1,5 - 6x42 scope and shoots like a dream!

I use one of two Krieghoff doubles in Africa and use the Wolf mostly in Europe (and pig in Northern Africa).

Has anyone decided to join you?

A nice feature of this hunt is the ability to take the tusks with you on the flight home, avoiding the dip/pack/taxidermy/shipping/customs broker nonsense.

Open Carry hi,

We are locking in dates now. 2 from AR have expressed interest. Once dates and confirmed pricing is in (end March), I think we will then start to firm up interest and deposits etc.

I am really looking forward to returning and hopefully dropping the pig of my dreams!

Will be exchanging the shotgun for a fly rod next trip. Should be some good fishing in the river!

Cheers

Charlie
