Point taken Karl. Of course any bulls happy to stay in the hunting area are fair game for as long as they are there. Truly did not mean to ruffle feathers. I have done a couple of hunts that were either a go- or over in one hour depending on which side of the tracks the animals were on. In those cases VERY FEW bulls of age were in the hunting area during daylight periods, they crossed back into the safety of the park. And I do realize every hunt, and area, and time of hunt is different. By classic hunt I meant exactly this " finding a track to follow in a large block or concession where the bull can be tracked in any direction he travels for a reasonable distance." That is my idea of CLASSIC.. but another hunter may feel otherwise. Again, congrats to both PH and hunter. Their efforts resulted in a fine bull. Dave Fulson | |||
