Finally, a hunt report.

No bitching, no moaning, no controversy, no Simon, no traveler's checks, no llamapacker, just a guy hunting in Africa, having a good time, and telling us about it and showing us his pictures too!

Thank God the hunting season has returned.

LOL - thanks a lot, man. Glad I could be of some relief and hopefully provided some worthwhile pics & stories. I'm glad to be back, but already missing the beauty of the land and the fun I had over there.

**CARACAL UPDATE**

I just got off the phone with Marius and twoskeptics (an AR board member who is hunting with Africa Bushveld Safaris as I type this.) The property where I got my caracal just produced another one, this time for twoskeptics. That's the second in just over two weeks! That's an animal that rarely ever gets taken and Marius has seen two bagged in under a month without dogs. Apparently, they went to another part of property that I didn't explore when I was there. Again, they were out at night trying to thin out some jackals and came across a caracal in the process. I'm told it wasn't as big as the one that I got, but it's a caracal nonetheless. I can all but gaurantee that twoskeptics is going to post about it when he returns at the end of the month. Those boys must be having a hoot right now.
