I've been on two hunts in Botswana's Okavango Delta with Mark's outfit. Both were exceptional experiences. On the first I took: Buffalo, Impalla, tsessebe, warthog, Red Lechwe, and Kudu. On the second, I took a Tsessebe, an Impalla, and a Hyena. My son's each took a Kudu, a Tessebe, an Impalla, A Red Lechewe, and a Warthog. All were good to excellent specimins.

My PH was Glenn Munger. Glenn was an excellent Ph. His trackers are experienced and loyal long time employees. He found good trophies, made sure that we only took shots that were within our capabilities, he was a good companion around the campfire. Most importantly, he took three relative rookies and turned us into hunters. Before our first hunt with Glenn, niether I nor my two Boys had shot ANYTHING without feathers. Glenn had his work cut out for him and he rose to the occasion. I highly recommend him.

Mark has two tented camps in the Okavango delta. Both are very comfortable with hot showers and flush toilets attatched to the tents. I've stayed in both camps and loved each one. The food was classic Safari fare, we ate whate we shot, but it was excellent, and abundant.

The hunting area starts at the edge of camp so there is no long ride before getting ready to hunt. You get up in the morning, eat, get on the truck and start hunting.

My only regret is that I neglected to bring my shotgun as the bird hunting was outstanding.
I understand that Mark has a consession in the Kalahari now. I plan to go there during the summer of 2004. The most important thing that I can say is that I will hunt with Mark again.

Yes Gander mt. opened about a month ago. I've only been in once to dash in and talk to the gunsmith, but it looks like it has a good selection of both hunting and fishing gear.

I'll try to post pictures of the trophies from both of my hunts with Mark shortly.

Try this
go to imagestation.com
in the upper righthand corner are two boxes immediately to the right of "search"
in the one to the far right scroll down to "members"
in the empty box type "ttreese" than click on "search"
This should bring up a screen with a blank picture and "ttreese" underlined. Click on "ttreese" and my two albums will come up.
It is easer than it sounds.

Regards,

P.S.
I especially like the "Ready to Go" picture. Spears and guns, a great combination.
