I got back this Saturday from my very first safari to South Africa. My good friend, GregR of Mombasa Trading Co. (he is on the boards here), set up this group plains game hunt. We hunted with Blaauwkrantz Safaris which is operated by the Rudman family in Port Elizabeth, S.A.

This is definately an operation that needs to be considered for anyone looking at a South African plains game safari! The Rudmans run a first class operation and go to great lengths to make sure everyone feels welcome and is taken care of.

The lodging soon feels like 'home' and is very comfortable. The food is outstanding! The PH's know every bit of the just recently expanded, 65,000 acres....it's huge! You will see lots of game and have multiple opportunities to get your animals......ESPECIALLY Kudu!

We had a Braai one evening and I was talking to Arthur Rudman, the owner, and he made a statement that really sums up how they feel about the business....'What is nice about my business is that my hunters arrive as clients and leave as friends'.

These people are first rate and I assure you that you will not be disappointed! It's no surprise to me that they stay booked so give Greg Rodriguez a call.

Did I understand you hunted near port Elizabeth?

I was just inland from there maybe 75-100 miles.....

Your Duiker will certainly make the record book and probably the gemsbok as well...

Congrats of a very happy hunt

vapodog....we actually hunted about 45 minutes outside of PE...Uitenhage I believe is the name of the town. Really beautiful place.

Yeah, the duiker will make the book but I doubt I will ever enter it.

Thanks
