Buzz mostly hunts in the national parks and communal lands (Dande, Chewore), where there are not the land issues and related poaching problems as on the private farms. These have always been and still are "big game" areas for the most part...ele, buffalo, leopard, croc, hippo, lion - although there is some fine plainsgame (bushbuck, kudu, waterbuck, etc) as shot by others on the forum. In April, things went very smoothly in Zim, and I'd go back in an instant. And I just might, as there is nothing that compares to ele hunting (for me)...and I have a hot-nut for bushpig. I'll add also that the beauty of the Zambezi is hard to match. As nice as the other areas in Africa that I've been to are, there is just something about the Zambezi that is special. Although not an expert on African Hunting, I am a pretty good judge of people. And I can say without reservation that I cannot imagine anybody not enjoying their hunt with Buzz. He's a skillful and clever PH, full of energy and enthusiasm, and with the unique ability to get the most out of the people he hunts with. If I was going to hunt plainsgame elsewhere, I'd be careful where I hunt, and who I hunt with. Areas like the Save Conservancy (Humani) are said to be good and hunted by reputable companies. HHK of course has many top concessions. Others may have more to add. Sally G. Brown, from the Zimbabwe Association of Tour Safari Operators, can provide current info about companies and PH's hunting in Zim. And certainly be very very wary of anybody conducting hunts in Zim who's home base in an African country other then Zim. Sally's email is zatso@mweb.co.zw. Bill Buzz's Webpage: CM Safaris

Thanks, Brad. Good to see you kicking around the forums again! Notice I did NOT shoot a tusk off the warthog this time! I guess you're still putting together those beautiful big bore rifles?

Hey Russell Screw the warthog - just glad to hear the elephant hit the deck without losing a tusk . Will send you pictures of an elephant we shot a few weeks ago . Was a really good hunt - he managed to make it to the 15 ft mark . The first 585 African Express is complete - except for the engraving . Will send pictures to your e-mail . Take good care or yourself - will give you a call in the next few weeks . P.S. Is Housten still handing out those little blue pills disguised as pain killers ??? Brad

Bill, I've reviewed 36 pages on this Forum "Hunting Reports - Africa" and it looks like almost all of them have been corrupted. It seems most of the posts are gone and there are just a few posts on each topic. I will PM Don and let him know. Regards, Terry P.S. I can't find my "How to Post Pictures" topic.
