DOJ, I was unaware of another concession. I know we passed through Kamanjab, but I thought everything there was one large concession. I'll check my map at home and see what I can find for you. There actually was no electricity, the camp staff ran a generator during the day while we were hunting to charge batteries for lighting. The only batteries I charged I did using a 12V cigarette charger in Vaughan's HiLux pickup. The generator produces 220V, so you'll need the appropriate converters, etc. Vaughan does have a 12V-110V inverter that can be used off the truck.

You sir, have just cost me a great deal of money. Outstanding photos and report! I visited Vaughn's website, like very much what I see about the large concession up near Etosha, and have yet to find anything other than stellar reports about his outfit.

Congratulations on some beautiful animals and I'm envious - would that it were my father were still around with whom to share the wonders of Africa.

I will very likely be bugging you for a phone conversation about your hunt at some point.

Jeff

Glad to see everyone has had the same experience with Vaughan that I had in September when I went. I'm still working on my wife to let me return.

I noticed on Vaughan's website that he has hunts for leopard, lion, and elephant. As a general rule, and specific to Vaughan's operation, how is the dangerous game hunting in Namibia?

1st timer, I will let you know in Oct.. I am hunting with Vaughan in late Sept and early Oct for Leopard. The last I heard he had a PAC lion in and out of the consession and available to a hunter if he wanted to spend the time. Some here have spent a few days chasing this lion but were unscessful and could add to this.
