These pictures are of game taken in 2001 with the .366 D.G.W. while in South Africa. I hunted with Numzan Safaris and my P.H. was Walter Enslin. Both Numzan and Walter were fantastic, and my wife and I had an incrediable time. The cartridge performed very well and to quote Walter "the combination of velosity and bullet of the .366 D.G.W. seemed more ideal than anything I've seen before." Comming from Walter that is quite a compliment. He did not like the muzzle brake on my rifle, but that is the way it goes.
I have R.A. and when it comes to being beat to death by recoil I guess I am a wimp.
All 11 animals went down to one shot, most in their tracks. I used 300 grain Swift A Frames, great bullets. I used 97 grains of H-4831 and the velosity was 2911 fps, energy =5646 and pressures were at 49400 c.u.p.
It was alot of fun and if you people want a great hunt look up either Numzan or Walter who is out on his own now.
