Has anyone heard of Witklip Safaris run by Ewald Ras? http://www.witklipsafaris.co.za

DCS, [or should I say DSC?]

Witklip used to be run by Jannie Ras, but he has largely retired from active involvement and left that to his son Ewald. In Jannie's days Witkilp was a good middle-of-the-road operation, and I have no reason to think that Ewald will be running the company any differently, except that he will probably have more concessinon on other properties in the area.

Please regard my comment as neutral, and just meant to indicate that the company has been in business for a long time: I most certainly say nothing bad about them!

In good hunting.

One can cure:

Lack of knowledge – by instruction. Lack of skills – by practice. Lack of experience – by time doing it.

One cannot cure:

Stupidity – nothing helps! Anti hunting sentiments – nothing helps! Put-‘n-Take Outfitters – money rules!

My very long ago ancestors needed and loved to eat meat. Today I still hunt!

Andrew,

Thanks for the information. My father bought a hunt from them at a banquet. It is a mixed PG and bird hunt. I may try to sneak in on the hunt also. What was interesting is he listed leopard for $5,000.
