Has anyone hunted with Tim Schultz of African Dream Safari? I think he used to be with ZimAfrica Wildlife. Looking to hunt DG with him next year. Leopard, buff and maybe Lion. How are the Sable in his area? Thank you, Great Site.

Thanks for the link. Good read. That report was when Tim was working for ZimAfrica. He is on his own now, I was told he is very good. Just doing my homework. Would like to hear from someone that has hunted with him since he went out on his own.

I met Tim at the local waterhole in Bulawayo last month.
He seemed to be a nice guy.
The Shultz family has a lot of hunters in it and with good reputations.

My father and I are scheduled to hunt with Tim at the end of August this year, thru his African Dream Safari company. I'm primarily after buff and my Dad will be hunting Sable. We've been told that there are large numbers of Sable in the area, but won't know until we get there I suppose. Everything I heard in my research of Tim was outstanding, with no disparaging remarks whatsoever. Feel free to contact me if you'd like more info.

I met Tim when I hunted with Zim Africa back in 03. I was hopeing to have him as my PH but he had some Spanish clients durring my hunt dates. A lot of the references for my hunt liked him. Does anyone have a link to his new company?

I booked with Tim through Mark Claiborne at Aahsomeafricanadventures.com. You might try there. Mark has done a good job for me so far as the booking agent.

I've not hunted with Tim, but have talked with him several times. I too have checked out all his references and all seem to speak highly of his outfit. Several plan a return hunt. So, I booked a hunt with him for mid August 2008. I plan to hunt for Leopard, Sable and some other game.

Just got back a few weeks ago from ZIM. Hunted with African Dream Safaris. Only met Tim once for about 5 mins. I shot a sable, eland, bushbuck, cape buffalo, and some misc. animals.
