Fantastic report, Ross.

Thanks, again, for your pre-trip pointers and sage advice. All appreciated, all correct, and all beneficial.

I reminded Thierry of your and his chance meeting on a remote CAR bush airstrip when you approached "the Zimbabwean, rock star PH" and asked if he was to be your PH in CAR . . . and he said, "no". We had a good chuckle. It took a few years and a change of countries to get y'all together, but it all worked out in the end.

Glad that your hunt went so well.

Will,
It finally worked out. You had him booked up until now, so I had to wait my turn. Thanks for letting me borrow him for a hunt. Now, I HAVE to go to Sango for a 2nd honeymoon and a bit of an eland/kudu/leopard assault.

Glad you are back safe and sound. Post a report!!!!

Very cool report. I will be in Cameroon for the first time in April this year. I can't wait. Must have been fun with Labat and Wood at the heads of your table.

Ross,

Fantastic safari and a great write up as usual. I don't know how I missed it first time around. We hunted Faro East in '07 and I'd love to go back. We skipped the Cam Air goat rope and just chartered. Spendy but worth it. I'm jealous now that you are going to Uganda. It seems it could be wonderland and much like it was many years ago.

You always have some of the best stories and photos - and I am sure an even better time out in the bush and on the hunts and travels. Thank you for putting this up for us.
